About the Book
*I received a free copy for review from NetGalley and CLP Blog Tours.*
I don’t want to say too much, because I don’t want to spoil it, but I will say this is a beautifully emotional story about a strong woman named Destiny. This story deals with many issues that we see today, pain, loss, cancer, broken homes, and much more, but it also has a strong theme of hope and love. I loved reading Destiny’s story, and seeing how she was able to use the pain of her past, to help those in pain in her present. Although it does use cursing, especially at the start, I highly recommend this to any women’s fiction fans who enjoy a tale of hope and second chances, along with new beginnings.
Long is a USA TODAY bestselling author of sixteen novels in the genres of
Women’s Fiction, Suspense, and Contemporary Romance. She divides her time
between suburban Philadelphia and the Jersey Shore. When she’s not on deadline
or teaching creative writing, Kathleen spends her time bribing her tween to
pick up her room and begging her dog to heel. Please look for BROKEN PIECES,
available July 19th from Lake Union Publishing.
