Berry Short Review: The Berry Big Storm

1728638 The Berry Big Storm by Megan E. Bryant
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Uh-oh!- A huge spring rainstorm hits Strawberryland, and Huckleberry Pie’s fort is flooded! There’s a big mess to clean up, but Strawberry Shortcake and her friends know that even the hardest jobs are easier to tackle when everyone works together. Since all the kids help out, Huckleberry’s fort gets fixed up in no time-and ends up even better than before!

Illustrated by Marga Querol and Tino Santanach

I enjoyed this short story. It’s a quick tale of friend’s helping each other when a big storm floods Huckleberry Pie’s fort. A beginner reader with beautiful pictures, and a fun story. As a level one reader, this is a fun way to teach children to learn, and to also help them start reading. With short sentences, and easy to follow ideas, this is perfect for young readers!
