Short Review: The Green Umbrella

26310393 The Green Umbrella by Jackie Azúa Kramer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

When Elephant takes a peaceful walk with his green umbrella he’s interrupted by a hedgehog, cat, bear, and rabbit—each claiming that they’ve had exciting adventures with his umbrella. After all, it is an umbrella, and it certainly hasn’t been on any adventures more exciting than a walk in the rain. Or has it?
Things aren’t always what they seem in this charming tale of imagination, sharing and friendship.

I love the creativity of this story. The characters each use their imagination, and see the elephant’s green umbrella in some very unique ways! A fun read with beautiful pictures, and plenty of creative thought to get children thinking!
